Core Stretches for Lower Back Pain

It is important to do stretches for lower back pain that will not cause further damage, so proceed carefully.  The main root of lower back pain is often weak muscles supporting the spine.  These support muscles are called the core muscles and they are the back, abdomen and buttocks.  Muscles help protect the back against the effects of gravity so in order to prevent back pain, you should try to strengthen the muscles in order to prevent, reduce or possibly even completely eliminate your back pain.  If you work hard to strengthen your body’s core muscles you will likely have a pain free back!
