Son Lands Family in Financially Difficult Situation
Until last year my wife and I had a strong credit rating. After our son racked up significant credit card debt on a card which we had co-signed for he failed to make the monthly payments. We didn’t pay attention to his spending habits and naively assumed he would make the payments. Many months passed before we realized what had happened. Now we must use bad credit rating loans to secure financing for my husband and I. This is terribly frustrating, but we learned our lesson the hard way. We love our son and refuse to hold a grudge. He is working hard to pay off the debt, and we will cancel the card once he is finished.
