Buy a Sump Pump Alarm
I think it is a good idea to have a sump pump alarm. I had a problem with mold in my house because my sump pump failed. It was over $10,000 to get the mold cleaned out. Alarms are really not all that expensive. In my opinion they are well worth the investment. I wish I had had one, because I would not have had to dish out all that money to get rid of mold. Plus my husband and I were starting to feel ill before we even realized we had a mold problem. It was not in the least bit fun.
