Company Downsizng was Great For Me
When I found out that the company that I worked for was downsizing, I was scared at the thought of losing my job. I had not heard it directly from management, but through the rumor mill at work. When the actual email was sent from management, there was some truth to the rumor. I was expected to be let go completely, but instead they offered me an independent contractor position working from my home. I would still be doing the same thing that I was doing, and I would be using Customer Support Software. It was a win win situation for me, because I hated going into the office every day.
